Victory Vertical Piano

In celebrating the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII, LMC will participate in the Museum of Flight’s exhibit Victory Verticals: The Pianos That Went To War.  These were specially built, upright pianos from Steinway & Sons which were air dropped into the field for soldiers to entertain themselves and keep up their morale.  LMC members Katie Hochman, Mia Kim, Gail Neil, Tiina Ritalahti and Colin Ward along with guest Soren Hamm will perform music from the time period on one of these very special pianos at 12pm and again at 3pm.
