Introducing LMC Virtual Concerts

LMC is going virtual! Kick off your weekend with an LMC happy hour concert: Fridays at 5 p.m. Enjoy these appetizing half-hour programs from the comfort and safety of your own home.

  • Nov 6, 5pm – Bite-sized Britannia – Featuring Vicki Boeckman (recorder) and Joan Lundquist (piano), Ann Rackl (violin) and Selina Chu (piano) performing music by Lennox Berkeley and Sir Edward Elgar
  • Nov 13, 5pm – Taste of the Americas – Featuring Vicki Boeckman (recorder), Emily Riesser (soprano) and Joan Lundquist (piano) performing works by Astor Piazzolla and Samuel Barber.
  • Nov 20, 5pm – A Musical Journey: Upper Rhineland to Vienna – Featuring Angie Kam (violin), Vicki Boeckman (recorder) with Joan Lundquist (piano), Regina Thomas (soprano),  Ann Rackl (violin) with Selina Chu (piano) performing music by Max Reger, Hans Ulrich Staeps, Robert Schumann and Franz Schubert.

  • Dec 11, 5pm – Brittannia, The Second– Featuring Sharon Jung (oboe) and Mike Dodaro (baritone) with Joan Lundquist (piano) performing music by Benjamin Britten and Roger Quilter.
  • Dec 18, 5pm  – Italian Songs of Love and Loss – Featuring Regina Thomas (soprano), Diane Althaus (soprano) and Mike Dodaro (baritone) with Joan Lundquist (piano) performing works by Giacchino Rossini, Stefano Donaudy, Gaetano Donizetti and Giuseppe Verdi.
  • January 8, 5pm – Art of Piano: Masters of  Salon Concert Music– Featuring Molly Forde, Valentina Rodov and Karin McCullough performing the works of François Couperin, Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Frédéric Chopin and Johannes Brahms.
  • January 15, 5pm – Full of Hot Air: A Woodwind Extravaganza – Featuring Sharon Jung (oboe), Vicki Boeckman (recorder) and Julie and Eric Shankland (clarinet/bassoon duo) performing the works of Telemann, Bach and more.
  • January 22, 5pm – Music of Spain and South America – Featuring Diane Althaus (soprano) with Joan Lundquist (piano) and Karin McCullough (piano)
  • January 29, 5pm  – Potpourri: A little bit of this and a little bit of that! Program TBA
